IN THE ZONE features ground-breaking new technology called AirSticks. Award-winning choreographer Shaun Parker will collaborate with Dr Alon Ilsar PhD who created the AirSticks: new hand-held gaming remote controls, which allows the user to trigger sound through movement. The performance and technology will provide young audiences with the insight that they are much more in control of their own emotional responses than they think they are. The playful, musical and movement processes of the AirSticks are an ideal methodology to achieve this, not only through the observation of emotional states that are explored in the performance, but through the interactive workshops following the production. Children, teenagers and families will love IN THE ZONE which features hip-hop and street dancer Libby Montilla.
