SP&Co Audition Notice

Shaun Parker & Company are seeking an experienced, versatile and professional Sydney-based dancer, of any gender, with strong skills in contemporary dance, physical theatre, improvisation and whom is a strong and compelling performer.

 

In your application, please confirm that you are a Sydney-based dancer and are fully available for the following rehearsal dates:

• 5-31 January 2026 (4 weeks)

 

AUDITION TIMES:

• Saturday 20 December from 9:30am-6pm
• Monday 22 December from 9:30am-4:30pm

In your application, please confirm your availability to attend either one or both audition times listed above.

All interested applicants should send their CV (one page), recent headshot and show reel link (5 minutes) to: joel@shaunparkercompany.com

*Please choose your video footage carefully! Please familiarise yourself with past works of Shaun Parker & Company (in particular KING, Happy as Larry, Am I & This Show is about People) to understand the style and submit a showreel that highlights your range of skills as outlined above. Footage taken in a rehearsal studio is acceptable, as is live performance footage. The priority is to show your performance skills clearly, such that you are clearly identifiable, as this showreel will inform your acceptance into the audition.

APPLICATIONS CLOSE:   6pm Thursday 18 December 2025

Audition is by application only. Shaun Parker & Company will contact you by 4pm on Friday 19 of December 2025, regarding the outcome of your application.  If successful, you will be invited for the “in person” audition.

AUDITION VENUE:   Sydney (exact location provided to selected auditionees) 

Please note: If you have auditioned for the Company before and/or have worked with the company before, please do apply again as our Artistic Director would like to see how you have developed.
