Roving and dancing on the hoverboards, five exceptional dance and physical theatre artists – Olivia Hadley, Sam Beazley, Libby Montilla, Joel Fenton, and Romain Hassanin – will perform Pop-Up shows leading the audience to explore various public spaces. Paying homage to boy bands throughout history, the dancers have created some edgy and entertaining dance routines!
The fun and high-energy choreography is inspired by the circus and street dance forms such as breakdance, tutting, popping and krumping, and integrated with visually compelling hoverboards. These shows are set to a variety of music genres, including pop hits, classical music and stunning original scores by composer Nick Wales. This remarkable ensemble of professional dancers will also improvise dance moves responding to the surroundings and specific spectators.
At each tour destinations, the company will call for expressions of interest to local dancers, dance groups, circus performers, acrobats, and aspiring youth communities to join free workshops and develop their skills alongside their high-calibre team.
This masterfully crafted, COVID-safe outdoor dance show will surely turn heads and get the crowd going!
