This fun and active school holiday workshop with Western Sydney hip hop artist Libby Montilla is ideal for aspiring hip hop artists. Participants will work on hip hop and tutting dance skills while also exploring the capacity to fuse hip hop with music to create fun and edgy dance solos and choreography.
Participants can attend IN PERSON (limited places) or ONLINE. Zoom links will be provided at least 24 hours prior to each session.

About Libby Montilla
Libby is a graduate of CAPTIVATE. Libby migrated to Australia with his family as a young boy from the Philippines and joined Shaun Parker & Company’s youth program The Yard in 2011, which toured in regional NSW and to the Arts Centre in Melbourne. After this exciting start to his career, he committed to being a professional dancer. Since 2012 he has had regular project work with Shaun Parker, touring The Yard regionally, nationally and internationally. In 2016 he led Parker’s TUT for Art and About and Parramatta Lanes Festival. He taught a TUT workshop in Kaohsiung, Taipei alongside Shaun Parker. In 2017 Libby has also joined Karul Projects (Queensland) performing in Sand Circle at the commonwealth games, ﬁlled in roles for CO_EX_EN, and [MIS]CONCEIVE. Libby also started working with Shaun Parker & collaborator Alon Ilsar to use AirSticks technology to create ReMOTE, which he has since performed in Sydney in 2018 and Kuandu Arts Festival, Taiwan in 2019. He performed in Parker’s In The Zone, which premiered in 2019 and will be presented again in 2020. He also performed in KING in 2019 which toured to the Middle East and Europe.
