It’s been one month since Shaun Parker & Company presented IN THE ZONE to a live audience and over 7000 students across Australia via livestream. This review by Alice Stafford in Honi Soit beautifully summarises our hope for the revival of live arts: “a hypnotic piece of solo dance theatre that marks a triumphant return of live performance to the Seymour Centre… Interdisciplinary, experimental work is symbolic of the fact that the arts must collaborate to survive. Australian artists have spent six months in lockdown – and finally, the curtains have reopened.”
