HELP US GET KING TO EUROPE IN 2025!

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you!

Our critically acclaimed dance work KING has been invited to grace the stages of prestigious dance festivals across Europe in 2025, including the esteemed Belgrade Dance Festival!

These festivals celebrate the world’s most prominent choreographers and dance companies such as Pina Bausch, Akram Khan, Hofesh Shechter, William Forsythe, Crystal Pite, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, the Paris Opera Ballet, Nederlands Dance Theatre, Batsheva Dance Company, Ultima Vez, Sydney Dance Company and more.

To be personally invited to perform KING at these esteemed festivals, alongside the most illustrious choreographers and companies in the world, is a tremendous honour, and an opportunity ‘not-to-be-missed’!

Our recent governmental travel grants were unfortunately not funded. This leaves us turning to our loyal supporters and community to help us seize this extraordinary opportunity.

Notably, only a select few Australian dance companies have been invited to such prominent European festivals, making our selection to represent Australia on this grand stage an immense source of pride.

Touring Europe in 2025 will not only provide invaluable exposure for our nimble dance company, but will also generate significant employment opportunities for our talented dancers. Additionally, it serves as a pivotal platform for European festival directors to experience KING firsthand, paving the way for future programming and commissions.

While the festivals will cover the costs to tour and perform across Europe, we need your support to ensure our team of 15 dancers and crew can make the journey from ‘Down Under’ to Europe!
